Kid's In Christ ... Upcoming Events
(3 yrs-6th grade)
Wednesday night KIC - continues on Wednesday nights with dinner from 6:00 until 6:30 and program from 6:30 until 7:30. There will be no KIC on Wednesday, Feb. 22n due to Ash Wednesday Service. However, we will resume KIC during the Lenten season between meals and Lenten service.
Saturday, February 25th - "Kidz Rock" Pirate night. Kidz Rock is a mini conference for kids ages 3-12 and will be held in our Sanctuary from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. This is a great (free) activity to invite all your
friends and other church children's groups. The more kids, then the more rockin' it will be. Dress up in your pirate gear for a night of scavenger hunts, music, snacks and fun activities. This is one night you will not want to miss!
Saturday, March 3rd - Snow tubing for all 3rd - 6th graders -- Meet at church at 8:15 to carpool to Jonas ridge. Cost is $20.00 for 2 hours of tubing. Bring spending money for snacks and lunch. We will return to the church around 4. See Crystal for sign-up and release forms.
Sunday, March 18th - Skateland --Meet us at Skateland in Hickory for an afternoon of skating and fun! Skating times are from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Bring your friends.
Mark your calendars for our annual Memorial Day Weekend Retreat. This year we will be at the Blowing Rock Conference Center. More info to follow!
Don't forget Sunday School every Sunday from 9:15 till 10:15!

What's Going on in February?
Wednesday Night Ministries - On February 1st, 8th & 15th. Dinner at 6:00 pm and Confirmation and Sr. High at 6:30
Saturday, February 18th -- Youth Night, 6:30 - 11:30
Sunday, Febrary 19th -- Youth Sunday, both services.
Wednesday, Febuary 22nd -- Ash Wednesday meal. Youth to serve and parents will help clean up.
Youth will usher during the 10:30 services throughout the month of February.
Senior High on Wednesday nights: 6:30-7:30, Youth Room. We know you are out there, make the time on Wednesday nights and we promise you will not regret it! We are continuing with our devotions on Emerging and Engaging from Gatlinburg and playing some killer Apple's to Apple's Bible Edition.
Senior High Sunday School: 9:3-10:15, Youth Room. We are diving into a new Flood, DVD devotion series and will looking at decision making during the month on February. Senior High is at an age of making some pretty big decisions - so let's make sure we are making decisions that glorify God!
