Meet our pastoral candidate Justin Mauney!

Justin Mauney is a lifelong Lutheran. Before receiving the call to go into ministry, he worked at an electrical engineering firm using his bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from NC State University. Once he began his graduate program at Luther Seminary, he joined the staff at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Cary, NC as the Minister of Contemporary Music and Young Adults. He completed his year-long pastoral internship at a church in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and graduated with his Masters of Divinity in August 2024. He has passions for pastoral care, youth and young adult ministry, music and worship, and loving all of God’s people. He and his wife Jessica live in Raleigh where Jess works remotely as a data analyst. They both love to play tennis, eat ice cream, and root for the Wolfpack!

Join us Sunday, November 17th, at 10:00 a.m. for our homecoming service, followed by a Thanksgiving meal and an opportunity to meet Justin and his wife, Jessica. We hope you can join us!
